Apparently he was unconcious for some time and remembers little to nothing.
so i can assume theres more info than that apparent to the NTSB but hey, whatever. We are on the rumor network, let the armchair quarterbacks call the plays. |
Obviously an Airbus so probably an AH125 or 130. AP failure seems an unlikely first thought. |
if it is a brand new Airbus it should be fitted with the Vision 1000, this should help with the investigation.

That is an interesting area to fly....weather can be really bad....lots of fog, wind, rain, snow, and rugged terrain.
I made one Ferry Flight from Deadhorse in Alaska to Southern California routing down the coast....once. After that I always took the inland route via the Trench or AlCan highway. FAA shows it to be a 350B3. |

Sounds quite bizarre. Unless it was a runaway up on the engine, I cant think why you would want to roll off the throttle whilst leaving the collective where it was. Any thoughts..?
