Statistical Analysis - helicopters accidents and incidents
 

There seems to have been in the last 12 - 24 months a number of onshore helicopter accidents and incidents in the UK. Am I correct or is this the norm?
I'm looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction for data. Has anyone done, or got any statistical analysis of data?
This is purely out of curiosity from a private pilot point of view.

For example:
Comparing years -
% / Ratio / numbers of private pilots with valid licenses that have had an accident/incident
% / Ratio / numbers of commercial pilots with valid licenses that have had an accident/incident
% / Ratio / numbers of instructors/examiners with valid licenses that have had an accident/incident

Wondering if the CAA would have this information and or whether this would be a freedom of information request. Thanks for any input.
