Differences between AW109SP and AW109SP/DaVinci?

can you please tell me what are the differences between an AW109SP and an AW09SP/DaVinci except the visible landing gear and instrumental panel? Thanks

The new rotor was a nice idea from a marketing perspective, but its autorotational characteristics are lousy.

Aside from the single-pilot VFR cockpit (with 4-axis DAFCS, EFIS, FMS, 3D synthetic vision, EVS, TAWS, RMS and Euronav DMAP, all NVG-compatible) and the fixed gear, the aircraft also has a composite rear fuselage (which, together with the simplified gear, is said to reduce OEW by 220 lbs) and a 20-second 990 shp max power rating.

Aerodynamic tweaks to the rotor were also mentioned at one stage, but never detailed.

I've never heard of an Agusta Westland 09SP.

The DV is optimised for high level mountain rescue with FLIR, MFD cockpit layout and a meatier winch amongst other things.

The "Da Vinci" is specific to REGA and is different from all other AW109SPs. As noted above, it has fixed landing gear and a specific cockpit. It also has a different fuel tank layout and there are other differences too. REGA is the only "Da Vinci" customer and they do have one Grand New, just to confuse things!
