Huey Serial Numbers

Is anyone able to point to a listing of Hueys produced (particularly military) serial numbers by model (B,C,D,H). Either military serial (eg 64-12846) or Bell production number (eg 3101).

Trying to unravel some differences in data, authoritative sources most welcome. Seems even the FAA may have incorrect serials.

Thanks Guys.

I emailed these guys a couple years ago: Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association
Wanted to know about my ole Huey. They said they had a CD with all the serial numbers they would sell me. Never bought it. :(

As for the B205, A1 and B's you will go from 30001 to 30352 or 54. I flew the last B205A1 ever made, (German registered aircraft) but can't remember if the serial number finished by 30352 or 54.

Also I believe that 4 of those serial#'s are B205B.

Bell's website should be able to help you with this.

SAS, yes many an hour in that particular airframe. Had the large fuel tank (same as a C) and carried drop tanks as well - fly all day.

The 64- serial was one I pulled out of the air.

Thanks to all for the leads.

I see that you have maintenance records for this helicopter. I work at March Field Air Museum in Riverside, CA where it is on display. Would you be willing to donate them?

So did I but under Canadian Registration owned by Trans Quebec. LMC or LME I think. We sold 2 to Germany ...first one got bounced down a mountain in Germany so they came and bought the second one.

Unless it has hitherto unheard of 'inaccuracies', Jos Stevens 'Rotorspot-B205 production list' has the ultimate built B205A-1 as sn 30332.
The latest sn D-reg (Agrarflug) 205 was 30318.It was followed by 14 built for the Philippines.
