Production volumes database

Hello, I am trying to establish some data for production volumes, both military and civil versions for several types of Eurocopter produced helicopters, all relevant models/marks. The overall numbers are the bit that really interest me although any breakdown by country, model and other information would be great. Are there any free data bases that might provide this sort of information? I am interested principally in the Alouette II, Alouette III, Gazelle, and AS355. Any pointers gratefully received. Thanks in advance :ok:

Alouette II = 1679
Alouette III = 1392
Gazelle = 1234 (inc. Westland production)
AS355 = 609 (as of 1998)

Tickle, thanks for the info, is this database accessible to everybody or is it closed? I thought that the numbers of 355 helicopters was more than this as I already have a figure of 380 (approx) for the F series only, I am pretty sure that the N was more prolific than the F? So a total of 609 is not huge, although I note that your figures are only up to 1998. Is there any reason for this?

I believe there is a good database called ACAS, but the annual sub is 7000€, :E, does anyody have acces to this, who would not mind running me the odd report?:hmm:

biz-buz,

To save you the cost of HeliCAS (now 'ASO'), Eurocopter publishes a 'Fleet Distribution' pamphlet each year that has the numbers you want. It's not on their website, but if you contact them you might get a copy.

Production numbers as follows (as of 12/31/11):

Alouette: 3,245 (II = 1,773, III = 1,472)
Gazelle: 1,269
BO105: 1,407
Puma: 705
Super Frelon: 105
EC120: 697
EC130: 414
AS350/AS550: 3,931
AS355/AS555: 772
EC135/EC635: 1,009
BK117: 444
EC145: 482
SA360/SA361: 36
EC155: 142
AS365/AS565: 749
HH/MH-65: 106
EC225/EC725: 131
AS332/AS532 Mk1: 575
AS332/AS532 Mk2: 90
Tiger: 83
NH90: 101

Many thanks for that info and the figures, I actually called EC this morning but made the silly mistake of calling them just before 1200, the official 2 hr lunch break time for the whole of France! :ugh: As I live there I should have known better, but still, I will see if I can get any further details from the horse's mouth as as to speak.

Either I'm missing some Gazelles or someone miscounted

Gazelle production

Hi

including SOKO built examples I have the total at 1411.

Zishelix 9th November 2012 06:31

1411-163=1248! Total :suspect:
Ok, some (6) of the Soko's Gazelles were double serialled (both Aerospatiale and Soko c/n), but our total for Gazelles is still questionable...

PANews 9th November 2012 07:07

As that list appears to be official EC production I guess that there are 'significant others' to add to the numbers.

Alouette
Super Frelon
EC120
AS350
BK117/EC145
AS365
may all be short of the additional production in Brazil, China, India and Japan - even if some are copies rather than the real thing.
