Fishtail Air: accident

SOLUKHUMBU, Nov 29: A Fishtail Air helicopter had an accident at Labuche of Khumjung, Solukhbumbu, on Tuesday at noon. All three persons on board including pilot Dipak Rana and co-pilot Anush are safe, the District Police Office, Solukhumbu, said. The Eco Real AAS 350 chopper had left for Labuche from Lukla to airlift an ill tourist, the Civil Aviation Authority, Lukla, said. It is said that the mishap happened when the chopper was about to take off at Lubuche. The accident has caused damage in the rear of the chopper. |
