Japan begins air drop on stricken reactor Thursday March 17th 2011 Military helicopters dumped seawater on to Japan's stricken nuclear complex today, turning to combat-style tactics while trying to cool overheated uranium fuel that may be on the verge of spewing out more radiation. A new AS365 N3 helicopter has been delivered by Eurocopter to Japan’s Fire and Disaster Management Agency (FDMA) for operations in Miyagi Prefecture.
