EC225 Inst Layout
As a regular passenger on EC225 choppers, I like to view the instrument readings. Can anyone help with anywhere I can find information such as a diagram of the instrumentation layout. Then as I'm sat there I can have some understanding of what I'm looking at.

Thanks for that Ian, just what I wanted.

What am I looking at on the VMS Display? I presume the two engines and the middle display is the gearbox, but what are they displaying? Vibs, engine torque?
|
Top screen:
Bigger dial in the middle: Combined Torque, with individual engine torques in the two small boxes underneath Top left: #1 Engine speed Bottom left: #1 TOT Top right: #2 Engine speed Bottom right: #2 TOT Bottom screen: Top middle two: Main Gearbox temp and pressure Bottom two middle: Hyd 1 & 2 pressures LH vertical 3: #1 engine oil pressure, temperature and fuel pressure RH vertical 3: #2 engine oil pressure, temperature and fuel pressure |

the large central guage shows main g/b torque(with numericals below to show amount from each engine). the two smaller upper guages show delta N1 (compressor speed) and the lower ones TOT (turbine oulet temp). hope that helps! |
Thanks again chaps. It's nice to know a little about what's going on up front.
