The Sapsan is a nice-looking chopper (first two photos). Can't find much info about it though, scheduled to be produced from 2011.

How does it compare to a Jetranger or R44?

According to the markings on the tailboom, it's the Mi-34S1.

While we were in Moscow, we managed to find a bit of spare time to visit the Air Force Museum at Monino. The place was out of this world with almost 200 old, wierd and sometimes crazy aircraft on display. These where a couple of the odd rotary on show
