Does anyone out there have any news on Art Swain? ex-RN, ex-Bristow etc, last spoke to him on the Skype 2 years ago, nothing since, rumor he,s passed on.

Hope it's a case of 'Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated'

Now there is a piece of Bristow history.....and let's pray it is mere rumour as he was a champion when he was at Eket. Many fine evenings at the bar with him.....loved the night he crashed the motorbike....did in his head...and stood there drinking as if nothing had happened.....we could darn near see what he was thinking!

As SASless says, a name from the past! I haven't heard of Art for over 30 years, but I will copy this to"Where are they now" forum to see if there are other responses :ok:

Yes I remember Art coming to Eket in the early 80's - certainly stirred things up :)

Like SP, he is a name that haunts my past - lost more brain cells through drinking with Art at Culdrose happy hour than any other cause!

I hope he is well.
