Mid air Cessna / R44
 

Hi all,

another mid air crash happend today in Germany

Flugplatz-Drama in Ellwangen: Flugzeug kollidiert mit Hubschrauber: 4 Tote - News - Bild.de

all four occupants of the R44 died (RIP), while the pilot of the cessna was seriously injured while his bird glided down.
The Cessna had dropped parachute jumpers while the R44 was underway doing pleasure flights on a flying day on an smal glider airfield.

Very sad news indeed. Hopefully the Cessna pilot will get well soon and is able to clarify the circumstances.
Any info on the company of the helicopter and reg? The news only said the chopper came from Weiden and is obviously green/silver.
"Flugschule Ostbayern" at Weiden airfield do have a green R44, but no silver colors.

OMG! horrible...RIP :(
