re:Flying G reg in the Netherlands

Off airfields landings are possible:
1-You need a license for off airfields landings from IWV tel: 088-4890000 for non PH registered helicopters.
2-you need written permission of the landowner.
3- " verklaring van geen bezwaar " from the mayor.
4- give 24hr before landing fax with your intensions to Luchtvaart politie: 020-5025699 and to Dienst handhaving 023-5663471

off airfield landing

Are there more helicopters involved and with dutch registration? if yes than do nothing and go for it.
If not you might try +31 235663252 IWV .
Succes

Thanks Rotordent, it is for Assen Moto GP, I was hoping that it would be a licensed helipad, but i have just found out it is not ! Not sure if any other AC are going.

Heli Holland

Check-out Heli Holland +31591351251. Their HQ is very close to Assen and they know how to arrange landing permits on short notice.

Thanks to all for the replys, all paperwork underway !

The Modes S situation is slightly confusing, but having spoken to Amsterdam Heliport there is no requirement for it as long as you are below the necessary height, the only problem is with the NSAA , as Mode s is required even below 1200 feet. and the NSAA has a pretty big area of the coast, means a bit of a detour to get around the bottom of it , does anybody have any experience ??

Best regards
