CHC Humberside
Hi All
May be the wrong area and time to ask in the current climate, but does anyone know if there are any connies still at Humberside? |
What the bejesus is a "Connie", a woman, a Lockheed Constellation - crypic sh1t or what!!!
|
Trust me to get a fellow potatoe harvester to answer
|
Still cryptic - are you trying to find a woman. We have plenty up in ABZ but they are all boilers!!!
|
The word is spelt "potato" but you can use the word "spud".
I cannot spell "criptik" either |
Not all boilers in EGPD....... there are few imports that are rather nice....
|
Hmmm
he could either mean a) Contracts ..... although this would be silly. The base exists, so therefore must have contract(s) - Freud. b) Contractors ..... perhaps this is a new and affectionate term. ?:bored: |
T4 yeah...the imports are just fine. Mine is anyway!!! Any idea what/who a "Connie" is?
|
UK, Humberside, wouldn't have anything to do with external loads would it?
|
DB
not a clue!! my guess is contract pilots i think they woulds struggle to get a constellation on to some of the platforms down there.. D value a bit to small... :E |
connies
Could be convicts of course!??
|

"Connie"
A term used by us engineer types to describe contract labour. |
