Private Flying-Spain
 

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but does anyone know if there any regulations specifically restricting or forbidding private helicopter flights outside controlled airspace from and to private property (with property owner's permission) in Spain?

In Spain you have basically the same regulations than in the rest of Europe.
Regarding the kind of flight you mention, you can surely fly privately from one place to another.
As common sense indicates, to land in someplace other than an airport what you require is the consent of the owner.
There are some limitations about the number of landings and take offs from that very location in a specific timeframe so you do not get tempted to turn it into a "permanent" heliport without seeking Authorities approval :8

Helicopter operations (take off and landing) other than emergency operations are not allowed into "urban" areas, that is cities or villages

Other than that you are to abide to the general Air Navigation regulations.
And of course you have to be aware of any restriction imposed on the specific airspace in your area such Terminal Areas, Control areas, restricted areas, and so.
If you live in Inca in Palma, you are within Palma de Mallorca TMA so there are some restrictions there. Actually Inca is also called Echo point and it is one of the approved waypoints to get in and out of such Special User airspace.
There are hundreds of private flights in Palma every day so as long as you follow the proper procedures you can fly there as much as you want.

i think you will find your information is not corect it may be true in uk but not in hungary/france[without special landing permit] and a quite a few other places in europe any other europeans want to add thier comments ?

another thing is, if you plan to charter a helicopter on mallorca, that operators like sloane mallorca, will only allow you to land on private sites they "know" and a flight plan is to be filled for every flight, but I guess you knew that before.

As you know all JAA countries have its own "particularities"

I din't know that about France, two years ago I had to make an "unscheduled" landing :8 on a soccer field in a village due weather and other than closing my flight plan by phone I had no other trouble about it.

Is anyone aware of any update or change to the position set out in this thread a few years ago? Hoping to fly to a friend's house in a few months time but I'm struggling to find an authoritative view on the regulations applicable to landing at private sites in Spain.

Stupid idea. Bought a machine in Spain, wanted to ferry it and could not get fueled as I don't have an idiotic tax number.
Ended up using one of an engineer and one of the fuel drivers.:ok:

Fly inside of spain is as easy as other places of europe ( france , germany or uk)..
If you departure from a controlled airport, your need to flight a flight plan and register your destination.
If you want to land in a private land( the owner has to be agree) far away from any controller aera is as easy as give a call to the airport where you departured and close your flight plan.

You need to pay landing fees before departue, also you can refuel and pay it onsite. Almost of the airports/ airfields accept normal credit card,
You do not need a tax number to buy fuel, however if you have it, you can deduct VAT and of course fuel is cheaper.

I have flown in the last year 3 helicopters from europe( uk, germany and italy) to Africa and all the fly through europe is easy and pleasant... Funny part starts as soon as you land in the first african airport...

3.7 CASUAL HELIPORTS
Casual heliports are surfaces that have a minima safety conditions to be used by helicopters on a temporary basis. The utilization of these fields are subject to the authorization of the terrain owner and the Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aerea and limited to a maximum of three landing and takeoff operations a month, except for aircraft in special operations.
