Flying in Mongolia?

Does anybody know of a helicopter company in mongolia?

Are there any light helicopters there?

There seems to be more mining/mineral exploration activity in Mongolia recently, at least since the first post here... A Google search didn't come up with much.

How about it? Anyone know which (or if) companies are working there?

Its all Mi-8s there or was until recently. It has been hard to find any company good enough to provide any support to the mining industry.

There were 3 companies operating MI-8s but they were all very financially shaky and seemed to change name and ownership. Maintenance seemed to be skipped and aircraft logbooks amended with tippex.

I am not aware of any light helicopters there and I wouodn't fly in anything that I saw from the 3 companies.

Mongolia

[I]There are a few Mils about, there is also a Augusta 109 in the hangar.

Big problem here is the Mongolian CAA, they make it very difficult for most operators and new types.
