going to gts next week, does anybody know of accomadation in bournmouth
need it fast |
Went to GTS myself. They have addresses of people with B&B within travelling distance. I stayed at a place which was an upstairs loft conversion, wi-fi, evening meal with the family each night for extra 5 quid. Was cheap. First name of the owner was Peter but trouble remembering surname. Looking now for you. GTS will be able to tell you who it is I think if they still do B&B.
Probably the friendliest, best place i've ever stayed. I'll PM you the name when I find it. |
Ill be at GTS myself next week so ill see you there I will pm you the accomadation list.

Hurn Court Farmhouse
I stayed at Hurn Court Farmhouse in September 2009 in what was described on the internet as a luxury double room with ensuite. If you want to hang up your clothes don't book this room. Landlord says it's never had a wardrobe and nobody else has complained. The ensuite shower don't work, toilet roll holder is broken and toilet paper limited. Someone else's old toothbrush, dirty flannel, half bar of soap and athletes foot powder was left on the sink and shelf in the bathroom, which was carpeted not tiled. Landlord said that when room is not let to guests it is in daily use and if these items had offended me I should have told him and he would have removed them. There's no lock on bedroom door. Landlord said if I wanted a lock on the bedroom I should have asked him and he would have fitted one immediately. Don't book this room if you want a good nights sleep as the communal tv room is directly underneath and I couldn't sleep until the tv was finally turned off after midnight. If you don't like 2 large friendly dogs trying to share your breakfast in the kitchen, then I recommend that you arrange to eat elsewhere or preferably stay elsewhere and save yourself the £100 per night.
