Probably a stupid question.
Standing in the garden a few mins ago when a helicopter (don't know the type medium size and enclosed tail rotor) flew very slowly down the village high street at about 700? feet, what puzzled me was it had two booms, one each side angled up at about 30° with something on the end that looked like a camera housing. the boom length was just a bit shorter than the rotor diameter.
Could anyone tell me what they were up to, it only made one pass. Sorry if it's been asked before but don't now quite what to search for. |
Is this any help?

Stringfellow Dork yes thank you very much for that. It was almost certainly that beast, no doubt I can expect my council tax band to be revised shortly as a result of their survey. :ugh:
