Feel to use it----I have had it in my "cache" for some time---I do not know who wrote it, however, I do believe it speaks for most of us on these forums. |

bobopp,
IMPRESSIONS OF A PILOT by Gary Claud Stokor Reference: http://www.skygod.com/quotes/poetry.html Kindest regards. |
R.I.P. John...
I always remeber this comment from him about C300 Vne, still makes my laugh Since even the mighty 300C is hard-pressed to exceed 85KT in level flight, the 94KT Vne doesn't seem overly restrictive. Perhaps the restriction is due to the tail rotor pedals, since you are pretty much pointed straight down and standing on them at that speed... |

"Substanially damaged".........you just got to love'em when they talk like that!
After hitting the platform then the water....sinking to a hundred feet in saltwater....drifting along the bottom for almost a mile.....and being hoisted to the deck of a work boat....hauled to the beach where it was again craned off onto a truck.....and probably lifted off the truck by a fork lift....I guess it was "substanially damaged". One might even assume it was "destroyed" after all of that.:ugh: |
Nope, not destroyed. Not if the data plate still exists. As long as you have that, it can be rebuilt.
