Air Rescue Bag

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help but I have been trying to find out details of a piece of equipment demonstrated to me a couple of years ago.

It was a rescue bag - sort of a combined vac-mat and lifting sling - used by the Austrian rescue service OAMTC.

I am not having any luck with Google as I can't remember the name of the manufacturer. And I am unable to even find the names of companies producing any of this type of kit.

Many thanks in advance...

Sarquip

Trying to find any product info on the Sarquip site seems impossible... You would hope for some sort of catalogue

Am I doing anything wrong?

Found a picture here...

And have sent a contact to Rega to try and find out more, but if anyone else has any info I would be grateful. I did have a catalogue with one in until a few months ago when I had a good clear out and got rid of everything I would never need again.....

Hi,
the german word is "BERGESACK".

If you google this word you will find a lot of different manufacturers.
All the german, austrian and swiss rescuers use different kinds. May be sometimes the same for a limited time, but there is allways a progress and changes.
If you need special advices give me a PM.

I will not recommend a single manufacturer but one of the most used is Tyromont. Take this as example

Other manufacturers are Bornack or Faehrmann

Rescue bag

Try HRC UK, they are good for supplying kit or will certainly know a man who can.

Thanks

Brilliant - that's just the item I was looking for. Could have spent a very long time hunting for that - indeed I have spent a long time looking!

Thanks again
