USFS Type I and Type II Contracts
 

The USFS type I and type II contract solicitations went out last week. They are now five-year contracts (base year plus four option years). The old contracts were three-year agreements (base year plus two option years). The five-year contracts maybe harder to bid due to rising fuel, insurance, etc. Most of the fourteen bases up for bid are in California.
