A Canadian Forces SeaKing stopped by today from CFB Shearwater, Dartmouth NS (Atlantic Ocean) ... A bit of a duck out of water in the Rockies.

I was at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton (CYHM) last week and took these pictures.
The S-51 (H-5) was built for the RCAF in 1947 and served until 1959. I find the hoist /stretcher arrangement ingenious if not scary for the casualty. The S-51 is not airworthy but the museum has a lot of aircraft that are and fly regularly i.e. the: Lancaster, B-25 Mitchell, Harvard, DC-3, Chipmunk, and Canso.
