Who is going to the Oshkosh Airshow 23rd July -29th?

I am pretty sure I am and looking for accommodation for 2 maybe.. if not my mate then its just going to be me.

Looks like a heap of fun & I might just even camp on the ground at the Camp grounds if I have to cause I am sure its goingto be tight for accomodation this late in the game and I think thats where the most fun is going to be anyway.

I was planning on going, but I have to be someplace else that week. Next year though.

I'll be there during the week, working for a couple of days and then playing for a couple of days. I am hoping to camp for the first time too.

I'm going to be there on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Prob staying in Greenbay. It seems that its the only place left to get accomodation. Have you ever been before?

Nope, never been there before but looks great.

Just found out a good friend is from there & is organising a place for me & is lending me his car.

Gotta keep buying that guy beer.

It came up in conversation last night & he was like .." Oh damn dude I am from there " ..and so it goes.

I'll be flying an Enstrom in to the show tomorrow (Sunday). I'll also be there Wednesday as an exhibitor and Thursday with my kids, just for fun. Unfortunately, as usual, my plans to camp there are not working out.

Spinning I grew up in a little town just outside of Green Bay and know the area well. I now live a 1 hour drive north of Green Bay.

Please try to look me up at the show. Ask for Todd at the Enstrom booth near building B.

I'm at Oshkosh this week and being tempted by loads of aviation 'bling'. If anyone out there has a few million £s (or $s, I'm not fussy) to spend let me know and I'll see what I can do! :}

Seriously though, this is the place to come to see GA. All the manufacturers are here with all their new models. Weather hot but no queues and lots of interesting conversations to be had with people who know what they are talking about.

Anyone else here?

I unfortunatly couldnt make it due to a complete tosser telling me he was buying my car so I can move to the states then after I took it off the market @ his request he pulled out cause he didnt get me the financing he told me he didnt need caues he had the cash.

Never mind I sold it yesterday but no time for the show.....
Next year I guess.

The F-22 display was spectacular, surprised it didn't get as much press as the MiG-29 OVT aerobatics at Farnborough.
