G'day, has anyone out there have any low downs (run cost, fuel burn) the plus's & info on the 333 please. Cheers :ok:

In some research we did while looking for a new aircraft it seems to boil down to this. The 333 burns fuel like a Jet Ranger, MX costs halfway between a JR and an R44. So you can roughly figure based on that. Somewhere I have a spreadsheet that sorted it all out, if I find it I'll let you know.

The 333 is really a niche platform - great for utility- patrol, survey, photo, video, light hook work, rides, and turbine training/IFR training. However to carry passengers any distance, you're better off with an R44 or 206, depending on your requirements.

The last I heard the San Antonio, Texas Police department uses them. They were fairly happy with them the last I heard, which was some time ago.

Conklin and De Decker have pretty good products for operating cost evaluation. Well the worth the expense if you're seriously looking.

Try talking to TAMS they operate five in the uk, and also operate JR's
