Landing at Belfry Golf Course
 

Planning to land at Belfry this Friday. Would appreciate any info from anyone who has done it. ie Was it straightforward regarding dealing with Birmingham ATC etc.? Cheers.

straight forward no problems just make sure you ring first
birmingham atc nice bunch and helpfull

but watch out there is a load of persons walking around with big sticks hitting balls that will come near to your heli each time i go i wish they would play some where else not on MY LZ

Ensure Security @ the Belfry have been notified of your arrival time:cool:

I landed there a few months back, no issues, fax your insurance to security. at that time there was a chance that your heli could be twatted by golf balls but they said they were preparing a new LZ so not sure whether that is still an issue.

Get a runway crossing at Birmingham, interesting view.
