where to get bullet proof floor mats
 

does anyone know where I can get bullet proof floor mats... flying low level for law enforcement and would feel safer with some protection underneath...

how much could that cost and where can I get it??

Flyheli, maybe contact the NYPD air branch. I thought they've used this type of protection for a few years now.

Do a quick Google search using words like "kevlar, floor mats, helicopter armor, US Army"....and several sources and articles show up. Sources in the US and UK showed. I would imagine the US sources would prove to be less expensive than the UK....most things are anyway.

sir: have personally installed ballastic armour on kmax , mi-17, superpuma, puma, 212, etc. what is your threat level?

Floor mats only won't protect you. Especially not when you're low level, you're a sitting duck.
