Can you identify this device?

This is a Bo-105 from the german Army.

Does anybody know what kind of device this is?

I think it's no standard equipment. Maybe some experimental IR jammer.

Looks Like a SLAR unit.
Side Looking Airborne Radar.
Next Guess?? Storage Container for Cases of Good German Beer

It is the "Saab BT 46" laser simulation System for the HOT missile
