Tech' group course

Hi all Rotorheads

I would really appreciate some info. I am converting my Canadian CPL-H to a CAA ticket (I am a Brit'), and I need to sit my tech' group on June 5th. Can anyone recommend a ground school. I have called PPSC, who sound very good, but the dates for their last course are not working well for me. Any help appreciated.

advancing_blade,

I've just posted some info about this on the thread I started in wannabes; hope it helps.

I did my ATPL(H) techs using just the PPSC correspondence course notes/past papers and found that they matched the exam very well, so you might like to give that a try, especially since you already hold a licence - it can't be that different. Sorry, I forgot that this is the CAA?!

Bristol also do courses now but I don't know what they are like.

You might also want to try Guildhall University in London.
I did my tech's and Nav's with them and managed to pass!
They are fixed wing oriented but taught me enough to get by.
If you live around London(Tower Hill)number is 020 7320 1757

Good luck

What day is it anyway?

Bristol Groundschool (Alex Whittingham) is excellent.

They do a crammer for the techs.

Thanks for the help people. I have notes from PPSC and a crammer with Bristol.
