Anti-helicopter asses with a difference!
 

DONKEYS were back on the seafront at Weston-super-Mare yesterday after a one-day strike by all beach attractions over the safety of helicopter rides on the sands.

Strike organisers, who say the flights frighten the animals, reached a temporary agreement with the helicopter operators which saw the landing site moved further down the beach.
North Somerset council will attempt to sort the problem out at a meeting in July.

Kevin Mager, 50, said his family had run donkeys on Weston beach since 1886, said: "We felt we could not have guaranteed people's safety with the helicopters operating so close."

Glad to hear that donks can sometimes actually be restarted.

Interesting that Donkeys cant co-exist with Helicopters. Maybe they only get along with the Pilots and someone was getting jealous......
At least the family didnt have to worry about sending kids to the University.

Perhaps they thought the donk's might fall over following the heli's coming by overhead, like the rumour of the penguins ...
