Drop the pilot, Joan Armatrading

Ride of the Valkyries

Fly me to the moon

Spend the money and buy a CD of licenced music clips. They come in a huge variety of types like electric, jazzy, mood, cafe and so on. We have used several of these on promo videos to good effect. Get them through the yellow pages. Pay a licence fee depending on how many tapes you make. Otherwise, you might be infringing copyright by using some popular song.

The third track on Chris Rea's 'New Light Through Old Windows' (sounds like distant rotors in the background, transitioning through to cruise ... aaaah)

NB this was done with a similiar title in the Winter (What Music Do You Play in your Helicopter?? started by Splodge)

There was a video posted here a few months back of US Army helos in action. The soundtrack was (I think) "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC (mentioned earlier by Trooping). It was extremely effective, I have to say I can't get it out of my mind (now there's an idea - Kylie ! :O )

RetroRetro 7th May 2005 05:45

Chase the Sun by Planet Funk and Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix) by U2.

Hunt out the Planet Funk song if you have not heard it, as it is really good.
