Can you identify this helicopter?
|
I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's a remote control helicopter. Yours, Dave?
|
Somewhere we can see the video that was grabbed from?
|
Straing my brain
Kaman HOK

|
No.............:ouch:
|
Looks like a model of a Flettner Fl 282
W |
The wheels are too big to be a real one
|
RC
I 'll stick my neck on the block with WTBF and Redeye and say it is RC... That smoke... definitely RC helo. The wheels are bigger than the Pilots Torso and those trees in the back ground must be from the Jurassic age if it is real
|
Yup, I go with wunper.
Must be a R/C Flettner 282. Typically those kind of tubes on both sides of the pilot and the gap in the fusselage for the engine. |
Looks like an RC model to me too.
Found this pickie of an FL282 on the web which shows pretty big wheels even on the real thing..... http://www.studenten.net/customasp/a...=1&pte_id=9595 |
It's not a Unicopter is it ??
http://unicopter.com/UniCopter.html Dave, you wouldn't be associated in some way to this project, would you ? |
Wait! Is it an R66??
:p |
This mystery didn't last very long.
Yes, it's a model of the Flettner 282. Incidentally, a person is currently building a full size replication of the 282 that is intended to fly. Flingwing207 had the best grasp of the answer, for some unexplainable reason. :D cyclic_fondler: "you wouldn't be associated in some way to this [UniCopter] project, would you?". Only if it works. ;) http://www.unicopter.com/Temporary/KolibriModel03.jpg |
It looks like it wouldn't meet emission standards.
