have aol instant messenger or yahoo or something? The reason I ask is because I have so many questions about helicopters and it would take me forever to post them all on here but I will if I have to. If I could chat with someone live it would be much easier cause I could stop you and clarify if I don't understand. Lately, I been dreaming about helicopters and I just can't stop thinking about them again! Thanks guys

If you search this forum, there are many topics and discussions for new helicopter students. Try doing a seach. Perhaps Heliport can point you in the right direction?

As Rick says, a search of Rotorheads is a good start.

Also, try PPRuNe Chat - there's tyhe occasional helicopter pilot in there.

You could do worse than buy Ray Prouty's "Helicopter Aerodyamics", just republished. (Virtually) no maths, all layman's language, and actually very entertaining as well.
