Wanted: Allison C20
 

I am sick of the smell of 2 stroke, so I am chasing a Allison C20 for a boat project.

It doesn't require certification, time ex. Ok.

bits and pieces , any leads and any ideas from frustrated boaties appreciated.

Why stuff around?

I have seen a boat with a Lycoming T53-L13 in it - fresh from an Iroquois helicopter, all 1300 hp of it. It was driving into a jet unit, and the boat was called "Jet A-1".

It only lasted 2 miles into the 60-mile race, because it put out so much power, that the z-bend in the pipe from the jet unit got straightened! Sounded great, though.
