2 New Light Helicopters
Hi folks,
Has anybody got an info (specs/photos/weblinks) to the two new 2-seat light helicopters listed below. The Guimbal Cabri G2 French Company, Owned by Mr Bruno Guimbal, based in Marseille. Helicopter first flew in '92, is Lycoming Powered with a 3-bladed elastomeric MR & Fenestron TR. Max speed is a whopping 159mph (apparently). Bruno Guimbal is ex-Eurocopter. The Polish IS-2 Again 2-seats, three-MR-blades, ducted fan TR, sleek composite airframe. Lycoming powered - but a bit slow at 108 mph. Any info would be most helpful. Cheers CRAN :) PS: The only link I have found so far is on the avia.russia web site for the gimbal - a google search for Guimbal Cabri G2 gets you to that. 2 useful links http://avia.russian.ee/vertigo/guimbal_cabri-r.html and http://www.jaa.nl/secured/Certificat...Rotorcraft.pdf |
CRAN,
Here's a little information on the Guimbal Cabri G2. Some of the specs are questionable. http://www.nasog.net/datasheets/airc...l_G2_Cabri.htm http://home.sprynet.com/~anneled/DATWF.html You probably already know of the 2-seat BONGO NA-40, but if not; http://www.nadc.cz/bongo/ DaveJ. |
Thanks Dave,
I have already managed to find the sites you kindly quoted and have read about the BONGO, however I haven't been able to find the patent of the BONGO-anti-torque system, don't suppose you've found it have you? How's the project? Cheers CRAN :) |
Wow Dave a light heli with a 7.62 mm door mount and depth charges !. Not sure if this is the same model ;) . I had an article some years ago , will try to find it.
