This was from a shoot I did with the team at Starspeed in the UK - considering how many different helo types we had it actually went ok.

This was a fun shoot with some VIP AW139s in Dubai. Took a couple of passes along the dunes to nail it but happy with the end result.

On one of my many visits to Afghanistan - I would always stand out on the ramp at sunset and capture images of the helos coming back to base or heading off on a mission. This was a USAF Pavehawk coming back from picking up an IED victim.

From a shoot I did with ERA Helicopters in Alaska. They were doing some trials of the AW139 with sling loads. Was quite fun to see.

Always like your images and recall the thread some years ago which was a "screen saver" and calendar. Still looking at the May 2019 one each day! :ok:

Here is one that has some history to it. I am the one in the grey shirt - the guy beside me who was our interpreter in Afghanistan between 2006-2009 is Ahmad Shah Massood. His father was the Lion of Panjir and ran the Northern Alliance before being killed by the Taliban. Ahmad Shah went on to become a politician in Afghanistan and now runs the National Resistance Front in the Panjir Valley and is fighting the Taliban. From time to time I would keep in touch with him - amazing person.

Friend operates this S-76 in NZ and we were recently doing some shots around NZ for their new VIP charter business. This one was up around some of the glaciers on the southern alps.

Couple of Huey IIs from the US State Dept INL Air Wing. Did a bunch of trips over to Afghanistan to work with these crews.

On the ground in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Thys Potgieter out herding some Rhinos so they could dart them and put trackers in their horns and in turn help keep them away from poachers.
