Another wire-strike? It certainly looks that way but details are limited.

This article has one mention of. Wires.....saying Utility Crews were working to retire electrical service in the area of the crash.
It also mentions the aircraft was experiencing problems. Due to the journalistic standards of today's media....they do not sufficient detail that tells whether the wires got hit before, during, or after the "problems" were encountered. If it turns out to be a Wire Strike....then that is two such incidents for Air Methods this week. Pilot became Ill before incident
Officials tell WDHN that the pilot was picking up a patient from a nearby medical facility when he began to feel ill and tried to land the helicopter which resulted in the helicopter crashing.

Following the crash, City of Andalusia Utilities crews began working to restore five power lines that were broken when the helicopter crashed. |
