Helicopter crash in Italy
 

France 24 reports five found dead in crashed helicopter in Italy. Awaiting more news. G

Mount Cusna, near Modena. A119 Koala took off from Lucca heading for Treviso on June 9th, found 2 days later on June 11. All 7 deceased. Tragic in this day and age. All the gizmos like EGPWS that were supposed to save us from CFIT, 7 cellphones on board and SAR couldn't ping one of them, Sat/gps following systems available starting at a few hundred and operators still fly without them (I won't).

maybe I-ELOP, from Avio Helicopters in Thiene (or Schio).

We should wait for the investigation... but in the meantime have a look at the video... :ugh:

Our news stated "crashed in bad weather", we have a habit of doing that.
