UH-60 Directional Pedal Adjustment Issues?

Soliciting information from UH-60 pilots and technicians regarding the aircraft’s pedal position adjustment mechanism.

The S-76 and some Bell products use a screw mechanism to adjust pedal position. The advantage being, if the mechanism jams, directional pedal control is unaffected. The disadvantage being increased effort and time to adjust pedals to desired position.

The UH-60 and S-92 incorporate a ratchet pedal adjustment mechanism similar to many airplanes. When adjusting, the pilot disengages the pedal fore and aft position from structure. The advantage being, easier and quicker positioning of the pedals. The disadvantage being if the mechanism jams the pilot is left with unsafe directional pedals.

So the question is, have any UH-60 pilots or technicians experienced pedal adjustment mechanism failures?

Never heard of a safety issue with em. Pedal adjusters have gone bad, but startup procedures call for pedal adjustment shortly after strapping in and a full flight controls check happens on APU before rotors start turning.

I have, however, smacked my head on the instrument panel reaching down to adjust a sticky 206 pedal adjuster.
