Covid vaccination injection
I have tried searching for the answer on these threads and on the CAA/EASA website.
After you have been given the covid vaccine, is there a time limit before you can fly again. The Faa have imposed a 48 hour limit, after the pfizer vaccine, before pilots and atc can commence their duties but I have not seen the CAA or EASA release anything similar. |
FAA is 48 hours for all Covid vaccines----I had my second one last week.

Few last sentences on this document.... Some of EASA members have issued 48 h recommendation too. |
EASA has issued an Safety Information Bulletin about vaccination a few days ago, recommending 48 hours between each jab and flight duty (both cabin and flight crew), or 72 hours if doing single crew operation. If a crew member experiences any side effects persisting past 48 hours they are recommended to contact their AME.

My UK AME (so technically no longer EASA) told me the other day no flying for 48hrs after the vaccination.
|
Official UK is still only 12 hrs which is the default for any vaccine
