Sikorsky S.92 on UK Register
Recently reported on 'ROTORSPOT' two Sikorsky S.92A's have been registered in the UK. G-INFO shows the registered owner is WILMINGTON TRUST SP SERVICES (DUBLIN) LTD.The aircraft are :
G-CLPJ, cn 92-0091, ex LN-ONU G-CLRX, cn 92-0047, ex LN-OQE Does anyone know who the owner is and what operations are they are planning ? |

G-CLRX is registered to CHC Scotia Ltd.

Since the bottom has fallen out of the oil market and Sikorsky hasn't made an S-92 since 2016, some older S-92s are being "parted out" for spares by lessors. There is still overcapacity in the marketplace which needs to disappear to stabilise contract prices.

Both Helikopter Service aircraft. LN-ONU is ex Bristow Norway but HS took over the lease (still in partial BHL colours).

There is also the S92 A+ that is being done and also the S92B which is also in process.

FAA data suggests Sikorsky have registered 10 S92 in 2020, not all of which have been issued with a CofA. The first registration this year was N337FD (920337) on 13th Jan 2020, with a CofA certificate date of 7th April 2020.
