R44 Ferry pilot

I am buying a new R44 from factory. The pilot who signed up earlier this year backed off. I need help from someone who meets Robinson's ferry pilot requirements to ferry Raven I to Pennsylvania. Time builders are most welcome. Completion date is late June so it will be early July when it will be ready to be picked up

Just sent you a message. Let me know if you don’t receive.

Take the "Southern" route.

Jobsworth award.......FWIW, those rules from Robinson are a joke, and have gotten worse....... Back in 2005 I was back working in Florida and an R-22 needed picking up from the factory. At the time, I had in excess of 10,000 hours of which 3,000 was in R-22's at least 500 of it in mountainous terrain, and had completed about 5 or 6 flights across the US. Because I had not completed the factory course within the preceding 10 years, I was deemed not eligible, so a 300 hour pilot who met that requirement was sent instead.

Gordy, I don’t think losing that little contract has been detrimental to your resume! ...... But get the point

Ha, nope..... However, some of the most rewarding flying I have done is instruction.

Didn’t receive it. It could be that you being a new member the message hasn’t sent and you don’t yet have PM privileges. Could be wrong though.

So, what does the job pay, and would you be tagging along?

kansarasc 7th Jun 2020 18:54

A pilot who meets the requirements contacted me and he agreed for the job.
I sincerely thank you all who tried to help me.
