IR - 355 vs 135
I'm considering IR training on the 355, which is what I have on my EASA licence and what I am current on.
However, I have significant previous experience on the 135 (other licence) and I am wondering whether it is a better idea to conduct the training on the 135 instead. The issues I have are that it will cost more for me to add the 135 to my licence and then commence IR training as opposed to the 355 already on my licence even though this can be as little as a skills test due to the number of hours on type. Most ATO's may require a full type rating. What is the procedure for adding another type to your Instrument Rating? Is it a IR test in that aircraft? RP |

Holders of an IR(H) wishing to extend the IR(H) to further types should have additionally 2 hours flight training on type by sole reference to instruments according to IFR which may be conducted in an FFS C/D or FTD 2/3 |
Many thanks Good Grief, couldn't find that!
