Engine Panel Interpretation
 

Rotorhead heroes - I'm doing a little sim project and I have a very grainy picture of an engine/transmission monitoring panel. Does anyone recognise it/ is anyone able to interpret the headings to help me recreate it? I'm only able to get hold of a very poor quality image sadly. Cockpit is a medium twin helo

My best guess would be from left to right: Np, Q (torque), Ng, T4. I am not sure what the two columns on the right are (perhaps oil pressure and temperature?). If I am correct, the T4 heading indicates an Airbus product. It is a poor photo so I am prepared to be corrected.

It doesn’t look like a modern Airbus/Eurocopter panel to me. They tend to have use semi-circular dials for engine read outs.

It doesn’t look like a modern Agusta either. I thought Sikorsky (S76D?) but a quick Google images search implies not.

So, maybe a modern Mil of some sort?

To the OP: is it definitely from a helicopter? Not a turboprop or small jet of some description?

The second lettering from the top left seems to my feeble eyes to say "Nr", so helicopter. Can scratch the S-76C with the Rogerson Kratos fit as a candidate.

Thanks for all the help, points me in the right direction. Seeing as y'all have been so excellent, how about this PFD? It's pretty hard to read! Any pointers on the contents (particularly strip gauges in the middle) would be much appreciated.

Going by the fact that the manufacturer would have used a standard layout, the tape indicator to the left of the horizon is the speed tape, on the right side is altitude. Heading would normally have been shown below the horizon but appears to be above it in this case.

Both pictures look extremely like the Rockwell Collins CAAS, but I'm confused as the orientation is not that of a CH-47 or UH-60.

Pretty sure it's not CAAS. The thing that struck me is there's nothing I can identify as engine performance indications on the PFD other than what looks like Q and Ng in white numbers over the strip gauge to the left of the AI. No better indication on the PFD of engine performance strikes me as poor!
Can't make out what the number below Ng is, or the number under the speed tape in white (legend could read SG?)

Speed tape I'm assuming is km/h as it appears to read 0-100-200-300 on the strip. That would make it baralt in m on the RHS of the AI?

Underneath the speed tape appears to be some waypoint info? Anyone make out what the categories are?
Top left above the HSI maybe looks like DFT and TRK?

Yes, I'd agree. All the meta-data is scrubbed from the original photos as well so not much chance of figuring out where it was in the world.

Anyone make out anything that looks like a radalt? That's what occurs to me is missing for helo ops.

I can only find the W-shaped wing indicator in Kanardia/Horis instrument panels.
Must then be an older version than currently advertised.

I shall look in to them. Any manufacturers in particular use their displays?

It seems that also Esterline uses the W-shaped gull wing
Esterline has done some refits on S-76B/C’s but however I have not yet found photo proof
