Seeing the S92 . would it be possible to have ECM installed on civilian helicopter ?

I’m sure it would be possible, if your pockets were deep enough.

AW609 comes to mind.
bigger range
faster
holds 8 people
Has already a considerable track record.
(although not yet re-assuring)

SLB

Has already a considerable track record.
I must have missed the "considerable track record". Didn't one have a fatal crash in 2015?

Rotorgoat

but if you want speed, power and comfort then the 175 is my choice
and don't forget the practice for the engineers with 800 hour MGB removals

If the OP is in the Supermedium category, the 189 is more robust than the 175 according to my clients.

Thanks for your contributions - all very useful food for thought. Please feel free to continue to add to the discussion.

Not a fan of tilt rotors. Direct experience of Osprey has left me quite resolved on this (good concept of course).

Interesting.
Can you give us your thoughts/experiences on tiltrotors?

I'm not sure you'll be able to get your hands on a 175 if that's where you choose to go. Rumour on the street is that they have closed the production line, not that it was ever that active!

139 is a safe bet with regard to getting your hands on experienced crew, airframe availability, corporate STCs, spares, etc.

Consider the 169?

Have fun choosing :-)

From the recent news that Bristow would have cancelled their orders:
Flight Global Bristow

22 cancelled.
15 orders left
more than 20 in production (so already 5 white tails)
10-15 produced per year
3 sold in 2018+2019 (included in the 15 orders)
So they have 2 years to sell the 5 white tails.
And they have to sell 1 per month on average to maintain a healthy backlog of more than 1 year.
Airbus says they have 87 tentative agreements.

Let’s see.
For the moment El Presidente has ample time to decide if he wants to put his logo on a white tail.
