Trump's S-76 s/n 760632 previous registrations N76TE and G-TRMP
Does anyone know the whereabouts of a S-76 used by the Donald Trump org in both the US and UK? It was last seen in UK in 2018, removed from the UK register and not seen again. It was formerly registered in US as N76TE then in the UK as G-TRMP.

From the Scotsman September 18th 2019:
It was billed by Donald Trump as an “incredible” way to tour his golf resorts in the UK and Ireland, with well-heeled guests being whizzed back and forth across the Irish Sea and all around Scotland while revelling in the kind of opulence to which the US president has long been accustomed. But Mr Trump’s bold vision of bolstering business at three of his loss making courses by exporting one of his luxury helicopters across the Atlantic to woo wealthy golfers has failed to take off.The Scotsman can reveal that a little known subsidiary of the Trump Organisation tasked with overseeing a high-end helicopter charter service has quietly shipped back a multimillion pound Sikorsky helicopter to the US amid falling demand and “anger” at the Trump brand.According to multiple clients who booked the Sikorsky S-76B, the charges were “eye watering” even in the high-end world of luxury helicopter charters, with fees reaching as much as £15,000 for a “couple of hours.”Get a the latest news, analysis and expert opinion with an online subscription=center Subscribe TodayDespite that, the Trump family firm, DT Connect Europe Limited, which is overseen by Mr Trump’s adult sons, Eric and Donald Jr, shows profit and loss reserves of nearly minus £1m.The director of a charter company which operated the helicopter on the Trump Organisation’s behalf told The Scotsman that custom suffered after Mr Trump became president.Richard Stubbs, a pilot and co-owner of Cardinal Helicopter Services, which had a contract with Mr Trump’s firm to fly the Sikorsky, said a decision was subsequently taken to offer wealthy clients - including US and Russian nationals - the option of flying without the ‘TRUMP’ insignia that had been prominently emblazoned on the aircraft’s tail boom.“In America, Trump is a brand,” he explained. “Obviously over here, it’s the focus of people’s anger, sometimes, so we operated with or without the name.”The decision to export the S-76B back to the US - where the rest of Mr Trump’s ageing air fleet is based - followed a short-lived stint during which the aircraft was primarily rented for use by an array of private clients who were not necessarily golfers. They included upmarket tourism firms who cater to rich clients from the US, Russia, and further afield. The director of such company said he never flew with the ‘TRUMP’ name visible, reasoning that it would have turned off potential customers. The Sikorsky, one of the world’s most sought after helicopters, is favoured by air forces around the world as well as celebrities who covet its executive travel credentials. Mr Trump owns three..One was shipped to Scotland via Liverpool’s Seaforth Docks in June 2014, just two months after Mr Trump’s purchase of Turnberry, the historic hotel and golf course. At the time, he promised the “incredible helicopter” would “connect the three dots” between his new flagship Scottish business in South Ayrshire, his inaugural resort in Scotland, Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, and Trump Doonbeg in Co Clare, which he purchased that February. |
Thanks for this but this was actually my starting point. I'm trying to find out where it went after leaving the UK in 2018.

£15,000 for a “couple of hours" sounds about right for ad hoc charter.

last I heard they were cannibalizing the 3 ancient S76Bs he owns to try and create one semi-decent aircraft. He'd be lucky to get a million for it.
|
It would be worth a lot more than $1M after being broken down and sold as spare parts.
|
I last saw it at hanger Jaymax at Blackpool airport in the UK. Maintained by UK Aviation Services (UKAS). That was in late 2018 though.
|
G-TRMP
Thanks HeliMann. Do you think it's still in UK?

If you ever find out where it is, I am sure it will be FAKE NEWS !!
Having said that on Aviafora website it shows that it Landed at Southampton Docks in November 2018 destined for shipment to Baltimore see this page, scroll down to post 114 http://www.aviafora.com/forums/forum...ovements/page4 Helipixman |
It last flew in the UK 26.09.18 EGNH - Southampton Docks. It was operated on Cardinal Helicopter Services AOC, they are currently the only operator of the S76 in UK with an 8 seat C++.

Who cares?

Not 8 seat C++ models, do they have any connection with Von Essens two G-BOYF and G-BWDO do they operate them ? |

Thanks for the update Helipixman.
|
As far as I know, G-PACO is no longer on Cardinal's AOC it is operated Part NCC out of the Isle of Man.
G-BOYF & G-BWDO SK76s (S76B), are owned by Von Essen Aviation and rumoured to be coming on to Capital Air Services AOC imminently A not so warm welcome back to Andrew Davis, that charming rogue and c***k. The very same man who started the downfall of PremiAir, went bust, sold to Graham Avery and the rest is history!! |
G-BOYF is on Capital’s AOC. I understand that G-BWDO is being used for spares. FNW |

Would anyone care if the aircraft were owned by someone more anonymous? Of course they wouldn't, hence my comment. I find the ridiculous adulation or vilification of someone because they're in the news or 'famous' quite nauseating.

Thanks for your positive answers and contribution.
My only advice is don't get sucked into standard irrelevant interweb trolling - best ignored. Regards Steve |

I think they'd be lucky to get their $875K asking price.
|
But he's famous Gulli, which adds value to the merchandise, Michael Jordan got $560,000 for a pair of sneakers, Darth Vader’s helmet went for $898,420, a General Lee 1969 Charger from "The Dukes of Hazzard," owned by actor John Schneider, sold for a whopping $9,900,500. Put it on Sotherbys. :p

I know I want to look away I just can’t. |
You can't even buy a used 206L-4 for their asking price for the S76B. Goes to show how whacky the used helicopter market is. It might be a good money maker if you could find a contract for it which has a good standing charge and low flying rate.

I couldn't get more than $350k USD each for a couple of nice low time B models a few years ago, even though they needed some calendar items attended to. I think they went for parts in the end. Anyone who pays a premium because this aircraft was owned by someone famous has more money than sense in this market for a 31 year old S-76B. It's sad, I am a huge fan of the S-76.

"B" banger. Hard to get parts for them. Worked with the lads in Wiking in .de a few years back and they seemed to be the "go to" guys for 76 support in Europe and they really struggled to get parts and were "manufacturing" a lot "in house".
For a small shop it was pretty impressive and their own A++ mostly had more than 20K hours on them. Never really worked on 76's but in passing to me they all seemed to individual and "hand made". Just sayin'. |

S76B
S76B - what a machine.
It is a lot of helicopter for the money. Only made 101 of them so rare😎 |
Operated a 76B for 6 years, loved every minute. Plenty of power, glass cockpit, FADEC, and the slurping sound of those engines sucking fuel didn't worry the boss.
|
I heard a funny story quite a few years ago about the Princeof Brunei's 76 and it's Malachite coffee table... Any of the Sikorsky guys know the story that could do a good job of telling it? I'm afraid it's been too long since I heard it to not butcher the story ( of extreme excess ).

Heard say N76DT had a buyer, inspection revealed a shot keel beam. Bye bye deal.
