I have always wondered, do you think they wrecked a real helicopter for this movie scene?


And what did you think of the crash in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? It looked like a real accident on set which really added to the absurdity of the film.

Yes, that was a real helicopter eaten by a real shark :E

According to IMDb.com, the "Tomatoes" accident was both real and unintentional.

to keep it all PC , no doubt a statement made at end of the film to confirm no tomato's injured or maimed during the making of that film with the Hiller :O

The Jaws clip has a good model of a 300, you can tell it isn't though. The blades cone up before he starts it...
