Urgent requirement for S92 FAA licensed CFI
I have an urgent requirement for an S92 FAA licensed captain with a CFI rating for a one day task in East Africa next week.
If anyone is interested and available please contact me. Thanks |
Why CFI? Can’t teach a rating in a day. |
I’ve seen a CHC TRI course done in less than 5 days in Africa. !!! |

The OP asked for an FAA CFI certificate (they mistakenly referred to it as a “rating”), not an industry-qualified TRI. Who knows why, could be the usual bizarro African CAA demand. I presume the CFI certificate would have to be in the proper Class (Helicopter) and Category (Rotorcraft) for an S92. Maybe, Africa after all. FAA licensing |
Ferry Flight?
Is this a ferry flight? Where to ?

CFI authority is not to be confused with being a Check Airman or Designated Examinerl
It sounds like some lucky Sod gets an all expense paid trip to East Africa for a day or so flying. The vagueness of the original post makes it sound more than it might be. |
Guys-why does every post in here has to be hijacked and turned into weird discussions?
I personally do know the OP-and i can confirm that he knows what he is doing and talking about.... If he needs a FAA certified CFI on a S92, he needs a FAA certified pilot with S92 rating and a helicopter CFI........ If you have never been to Africa, and have never dealt with an African CAA, you might not understand why....but that does not change that the OP needs what he needs to find... |
Good afternoon,
I am a S92 rated FAA CFII / ATPH. Not sure what you need or just have a question. Thank you. Doug |
Thanks Huey!!!
