Removing ice wall with underslung concrete block
I am currently in the Alps and this has gone viral out here. The ice wall is above the access road to Val D'Isere and was a threat to traffic so:
As my only involvement with helicopters was dangling from the strop on dinghy drills I wondered if the rotorhead collective have any comments?? I do not seem to be allowed to include a facebook link so please search "sur le route de bourg on sait briser le glace" |

The only question how long concrete block can sustain impact force?
Some people using the right tolls ;) -> |
Would have though asking the military with a couple of anti tank rockets would have been way cheaper and a lot safer !

Remind me how exactly you enter that in the tech log? |

A new market for the 225. |
This is actually an excellent idea II. Here is a proof of concept picture. Now, substitute the Griffon with a 225 and that little EU Helicopter Mountain wouldn't last more than a month smashing down rock faces, ice walls, or protestors barricades in the Champes D'elysee! In fact, you might run out of 225 wrecking balls before the demand is satisfied!

Like this:
Might be able to help BRS out as well, shame the Columbia deal is off, they could have cornered the market using BV234 and EC225s. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....9d94df23fa.png |

Like cracking a bullwhip and your Starflex is on the end of the whip!!
Early days of the 350 this was a big issue when long lining and various methods were used to negate cracking of the Starflex. Maybe it is OK these days? |
