January 2019 Rotorheads Desktop Calendar

Firstly, apologies for failing to produce a December calendar. I was literally snowbound in a hut at 65N when I remembered. I have administered self-flagellation at length including eating a sandwich made with 'smoked reindeer and cheese' from a tube. True.

As for January, following my plaintiff cries I have now received this magnificent submission taken by Kiwi Ned Dawson. This exquisite image shows an AW 189 of Gulf Helicopters silhouetted by the setting sun as it hovers out over the sand dunes near the border of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

As previously stated I am very happy to continue to produce this each month but I am dependent on talented and kind people like Ned to submit decent resolution images (larger that 1.5MB is fine). Submissions may be sent to rotorheads.calendar.pictures "at" gmail.com
