Robinson Safety Course - Visa

Hi guys,

I would like to attend the Robinson Safety Course next month in Torrance. I asked myself if I need a special kind of visa to enter the States or if is it enough to travel by a normal tourist visa like the ESTA.
Robinson couldn't give me an answer. However, maybe someone aleready attend the course from aboard and could help me with his experience.

Many thanks in advance!

The visa waiver program allows you to travel for business or pleasure. It exists so that visas are not required.
You just can't be employed in the US which isn't what you are intending to do.

As Bell_ringer states, you are fine to travel on a visa waiver (ESTA ) provided that you are only undergoing short term training and you won't be getting any salary paid by a company based in the USA. (payments of expenses are allowed).
