Cost of 139 Type rating Morristown, NJ

I am currently Typed on the Aw189 and seeking any info about course cost for the 139 in Morristown NJ USA
Any feedback about the course, sim slots, instructors, accommodation nearby etc would be greatly appreciated...

When I was there, 2 years ago, I was told the Endorsement cost was US$72 000. (I wasn’t paying.)

Great course, excellent instructors. Some SIM slots were at impolite hours. Like most SIMs, it did break down sometimes, and throw the schedule out.

Pleanty of accommodation options. None that I’m aware of within walking distance, but short drive.
We stayed at “Candlewood Suites” Parsippany-Morris Plains.
Not fancy, but entirely suitable, and knowing my company, the cheapest available.

Repeat “Info 2 years old”

I would have thought you could do a reduced course due to the commonalities. Certainly in EASA going the other way round gives you credit.

Sorry, yes, missed the current AW189 rating. The cost quoted was for the full (Previously Airbus Pilot) endorsement.

Is your AW189 Type Rating FAA or EASA?
Are you seeking a AW139 Type Rating for EASA or FAA?
There are variables.

My AW189 Type was done in Sesto using EASA Ground and skill test...

I hold FAA ATPH and GCAA

Dunno what an initial course would be today... but your end of service bonus won’t cover it lol

I believe there is a course for that, it's called AB/AW139 ATP/Type Rating.
